From our conveniently located music studio in the heart of Hillsborough, Carolina Music Hub offers in person, high quality, private, music lessons for a wide variety of instruments, tailored to students of all ages and skill levels—from complete beginners to intermediate and advanced players. Lessons are available for children, teens and adults of all ages. Our students are encouraged to study the music that they love. We provide personalized instruction concentrating on fundamentals, technique and musical expression. At Carolina Music Hub we make learning music fun, dynamic, and rewarding.

Guitar Lessons for Every Style and Every Student
Whether you are picking up the instrument for the very first time or you are ready to refine advanced skills, we will help you grow as a well-rounded musician by focusing on technique, music theory and musical expression. Our private guitar lessons are designed for children, teens and adults of all ages. At Carolina Music Hub, we make learning the guitar fun, effective, and rewarding.
Our instructors share a passion for both teaching and performing and are committed to creating a nurturing and supportive environment where every student can thrive. We tailor each lesson to your goals and interests, covering both acoustic and electric guitar. Styles and areas of study include:
Blues, Rock, Jazz, Folk, and Christian Worship guitar
Lessons designed specifically for different ages and levels of experience
Music Theory and Sight Reading
Songwriting and performance skills
Students also have opportunities to perform in recitals and community performances, showcasing their progress and celebrating their achievements.

Lessons are tailored to each student’s interest, pace and goals and are designed to create an enjoyable, rewarding experience while building solid musical foundations through technique, music theory and musical expression. Music Theory for Beginners to College Students
If you are currently taking an AP Music Theory class or collegiate music theory class, we will center your lessons around what you are currently learning in class and make sure your understanding is reinforced with multiple exercises and examples.
Our instructors tailor each lesson to your goals and interests, whether you are wanting to expand your current music knowledge or are enrolled in a high school or college course. Areas for study and exploration include:

Music Production for Beginners to College Students
Have you always wanted to have a professional recording of your music? Or perhaps you have listened to a piece of music and wondered “how did they do that?” Our Music Production lessons can help you learn the intricacies of how music is recorded and produced. Our instructors tailor each lesson to your goals and interests, whether you are wanting to record yourself playing or mixing audio for a movie and anything in between:

All lessons are held in our dedicated lesson rooms at our store. Conveniently located 0.5 miles from I-85 and 2 miles off I-40, our store is easily accessible for busy families and adult students alike. Students join us from across Hillsborough, Chapel Hill, Durham, Mebane and more.

Lesson Options
We offer flexible lesson formats to meet the needs of every student:
Private Weekly Lessons – 30-minute, one-on-one sessions, billed month-to-month (no contracts, no registration fees)
Free Trial Lesson – available for all instruments so you can try before committing
Duet Lessons – two students share a lesson; the second student is half-price
Flex Lessons – purchase 4 lessons at a time and schedule them at your convenience
Two Lessons a Week Discount – purchase 2 lessons a week and receive 10% off both lessons
Lesson Policies
Lesson Format – generally scheduled as weekly 30-minute private sessions with the same instructor, at the same time each week
Availability – lessons offered Tuesday through Saturday (morning through evening)
Month-to-Month Tuition – paid at the first lesson of each month, with convenient Auto Pay available
Flexible Start Dates – students can begin at any time; tuition is pro-rated for the first month
Make-Up Lessons – available with 24-hour notice; lessons missed without notice are charged to cover instructor time
Weather & Holiday Closures – if lessons are cancelled due to inclement weather or major holidays, they will be credited to the following month (notifications sent by email and text)
